GTS expands its presence in the public sector with the rapid delivery of a WAN (Wide Area Network) for the Polish National Health Fund

GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based telecommunications operator in CEE, won a public tender organized by the Polish National Health Fund (NFZ). Its objective was to build a corporate WAN (Wide Area Network) and provide Internet access at the headquarters and regional branches of the institution, which provides health care financing and prescription reimbursement for over 37 million insured Poles. GTS won the tender, leaving behind offers from such companies as Crowley, Exatel and TK Telekom. The implementation of the project took only 6 weeks. -

The UniCredit group has already been using GTS data center services for its secondary colocation operations for a long period of time. Now, UniCredit, one of the most important banks on the Czech market, has decided to move its primary data center to GTS and thus will close an additional contract with the operator, its current data center service provider on the Czech market. -
