With its IP network offering one of the largest international and domestic bandwidth in Hungary GTS Server Hotel awaits all those who want to keep their servers under professional conditions for low costs. In the computer rooms of GTS Hungary you can install your own server without traffic restrictions for fixed monthly recurring charges or you can lease high reliability servers even with individual configuration, if requested.

The services of GTS Server Hotel  are available at three locations:

• in Budaörs, at the headquarters of GTS Hungary (Budaörs, Ipartelep u. 13-15.);
• on the Pest side of Budapest, in the building of Budapest Internet Exchange /BIX/ (District 13, Victor Hugo u. 18-22.);
• and in Buda (District 11, Hauszmann Alajos u. 3/A).

The physical environment necessary for reliable operation and high speed access to the Internet backbone network in Hungary and abroad, required for running up-to-date Internet applications, will be guaranteed at all three sites.

The GTS Server Hotel rooms offer 2X10 Gigabit/s bandwidth in both domestic and international directions, while the transmission rate of the link established with NIIF (National Information Infrastructure Development) academic network is 1 Gigabit/s. As default GTS Hungary provides 100 Mbit/s dedicated Ethernet switch port per server, but parallel with the growing demands the bandwidth can naturally be increased in either domestic (BIX) or international directions, up to 1000 Mbit/s. The internal network is constituted from switched 10GE, Gigabit- and Fast-Ethernet links.

For the reliable operation of the servers redundant diesel generators installed in N+1 configuration and high performance UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems working in on-line mode provide – if necessary – for the continuous power supply, in addition to the mains of the town. Dust- and moisture-free air and constant temperature are ensured by extreme performance air conditioning equipment with multiple redundancy.

The operation of computers is supervised day and night by the specialists of GTS Hungary who will take the necessary steps, should a failure occur. Naturally access to the server is allowed only to persons authorized by the owner who can perform the necessary tasks in the so-called console room, a comfortable place separated for this purpose. The physical security of the server room is made complete by round-the-clock security service, an electronic access control system with logging and a closed-circuit camera system.

Both simple computers on shelves and redundant, high performance servers mounted in rack cabinet can be located in the facility. The service is available on PC, unit, rack and m² basis. The facility is capable of housing devices with extreme mass as well; the loading capacity of the computer room is 3,000 kg/m².
